🔗➡️ https://www.statesman.com/sports/longhorns/football/article/texas-football-maraad-watson-touchdown-22513137.php
This is important to note for not only Maraad Watson, but the hundreds of players like him across college football:
“You look at the current climate of college football now and what you can do for yourself, and he had to go take that chance and that opportunity.”
The current era allows players to capitalize on their skill and success. That is something to be celebrated, imo.

New @statesman: Maraad Watson’s 61-yard scoop-and-score lit up a group chat of 20+ coaches in Irvington, New Jersey last Saturday night. It also completed an 18-month journey for a northeast prep star and Syracuse standout now in the SEC. “I told him, ‘things just got a little serious now, man.’ This isn't Syracuse, New York no more. You're in Texas now. Kids are bred to play football down in Texas.’” More ⬇️ on an emerging star in the middle of Texas’ defense. https://www.statesman.com/sports/longhorns/football/article/texas-football-maraad-watson-touchdown-22513137.php在 X 查看被引用的帖子
