Rockets Training Camp | Alperen Sengun SHOOTING & SPACING? Emphasis On FORCING TOs, Communication

Houston Rockets intensify shooting development as Alperen Sengun pairs up with renowned shot doctor Chip Engelland at training camp. Will Sengun’s progress from the corners reshape the Rockets’ offensive arsenal and unlock new lineup combinations? Host Jackson Gatlin (@JTGatlin) spotlights key on-court changes, including the strategic push for Sengun and Amen Thompson to become reliable floor spacers—mirroring Chip Engelland’s proven approach with NBA stars.

Ime Udoka emphasizes the team’s renewed defensive focus, aiming for more forced turnovers and stronger possession battles. Insights on Reed and Sengun’s defensive challenges, Jabari Smith Jr.’s evolving communication skills, and the critical role veterans like Fred VanVleet, Steven Adams, and Marcus Smart will play in building a connected locker room set the stage for Houston’s preseason ramp-up. Can this Rockets squad reclaim their edge on defense and climb the Western Conference ranks?
